the artist.you were an artist. always carving out something new.  making shapes in the stars and holding them, fresh and glowing in the palm of your hands.  to you, the world was the most beautiful thing; taken for granted.   
because it became just a blur in the eyes of everyone else.  while your thoughts would not stay in sync with theirs; they trailed behind  unable to latch on to anything real. until solid became liquid. liquid became gas.   
the fear of being alone frightened you with an equal amount to it's opposite.  so you curled into your bokeh world where light shone from all directions,  all t the artist.

the shelf.you said  i'm getting kind of used to this  you said  everything goes in the same pattern.   
i.  there's a second hand ticking  the same rhythm and the same timing  everyday, and it's ticking in beat  to your strumming fingers  those chipped, broken nails  clip clip clipping against the hard  surface. it's moving in harmony  with your steady breathing - with the way  your eyes peer upon the world  as if it's lost it's wonder  even though you know nothing has changed.   
 
ii.  they said you weren't alive,  not really, not anymore.  y the shelf.

no thimblea nervous touch  a wary gaze

i.  a rain drop slipping  down an icycle.  extending --- extending  and freezing  into a moment in time.   
 
ii.  the spread of light  on a evening sky.  crashing /// crashing  and sparking  something new and exciting.   
 
iii.  the photographer  settled with his tool  waiting ~~~ waiting  and capturing   no thimble

...we hear the playback and it seems so long ago.

new poem. new poem. new poem.
my mind has been incapable of making words sound good the last few days.
and i've had bokeh floating about my head waiting to turn into something.
i wrote one piece of writing before 'lust: desire: aphrodisia'
and it was just...bleh.
started off fine...ended badly.

so after a draft and then an edit,
i get the new poem. =)
alas, i'm satisfied.
